Minsk. March, 7. INTERFAX-WEST – " Within the framework of sales development strategy for 2007-2012 JSC BELSHINA creates a network of regional storehouses of finished goods in the territory of the Republic", INTERFAX" was informed at the enterprise.

Now regional storehouses are set up in Grodno, Minsk, Oshmiany, Stolbtsy and Slutsk. Besides, managerial procedure on conclusion contracts to rent storehouses and accepting staff for employment in Lida, Pinsk, Orsha and Gomel has been already completed. Sales specialists expect tyres to be delivered in the second half of March.

Alongside with that, "BELSHINA" has already concluded contracts with the some enterprises to rent premises in Slonim, Kostiukovichy, Mozyr, Petrikov and Krichev. Staff recruitment is being already carried out. Finished goods storehouses in these towns are scheduled to open in March - April of the current year.

By April of the current year some more storehouse lease contracts are to be concluded. In particular, corresponding documents about Polotsk, Volkovysk,  Gorki and Borisov are submitted for coordination.

The experts have noted that in April - May questions of storehouses set up in Vitebsk, Molodechno, Mogilyov, Brest, Glubokoe, Baranovichi and Svetlogorsk will be settled as well.

Belshina OJSC has been awarded Grand Prix at the 10th International specialized exhibition “Tires, Rubber Technical Articles and Caoutchoucs - 2007” in Moscow.

The main award of the exhibition Belarusian enterprise has received for manufacturing a wide range of high quality pneumatic tires for CIS countries. At the same time, Belshina has become a prizewinner of the contest “The best automobile tire on the roads of Russia-2007” that was conducted within exhibition framework.

Gold medals of the contest were awarded to car tires 195/65R15 model Bel-119 with all-seasons tread pattern and 175/70R13 model Bel-127 with winter season tread pattern, and also an improved cross-country ability truck tire 16,00R20 model Bel-95 for dump trucks.

Silver medal was awarded to light truck tire 185/70R16C model Bel-109 and truck tire 315/80R22.5 model Bel-128.

Besides, Belshina OJSC has received the exhibition diploma for the original stand design using proprietary style.

Many car owners managed to evaluate advantages of tubeless tires by Belshina OJSC. They are more reliable and economic due to reduction of mass, heat generation, rolling motion, assembly and servicing labor savings.

Up to recent time all these advantages were only the domain of owners of cars and light trucks. But experts of Belshina OJSC work hard to implement up-to-date process technologies for agricultural machinery.
Late in 2006 Large-dimension tires works of Belshina OJSC has manufactured the trial batch of tubeless agricultural machinery tires 580/70R42 model Bel-126, which was designed for multi-functional tractor MTZ 3023B/2522 and its foreign analogues.

Bel-126 tire has tubeless design. Air-tightness of the tire has been achieved through the use of special sealing layer and bead design making tire fitting on the rim more tight.

The design feature of Bel-126 tire is reduced pressure on soil, improving tractor’s cross-country ability and reducing negative tire effect on soil.

Also improving cross-country ability parameter is the directional tread pattern of R-1 type “fur-tree”. Powerful soil grip hooks provide good tire traction with soil, and tread design is distinguished for its self-cleaning ability.

Trial batch of tires has successfully passed a set of stand tests and is now under acceptance and maintenance tests.

In December 2006 Car and truck tires works turned 30 years.

The Car and truck tire works is one of structural units of Belshina OJSC with workshops area of almost 19 hectares. The works comprises of 11 workshops – 9 of them are main, and others – auxiliary. The works manufactures car, light truck, truck and agricultural tires.

Starting from 2004 the works is developing new production capacities.

Major changes started after the Government of the Republic of Belarus has adopted a strategic decision to invest 24 mln euros in technical modernization of Car and truck tires works. The money has been spent on purchasing basic new generation technological equipment for manufacturing competitive tires both for local and foreign markets.

Within relatively short time Krupp and Matador complexes were erected. They ensure high-precision plane assembly of tires, not used at Belshina OJSC earlier. Acquisition of Krupp assembly complexes has allowed to change car tires production technology radically to most prospective assembly method.

At the same time erection of high-quality semi-finished products lines for assembly complexes, vulcanization processes and special quality control equipment was well under way. New equipment commissioning has accelerated new tires mastering and markedly shortened development- manufacture stage.

Thanks to commissioning of new production capacities, even this year Belshina OJSC is expecting over 900 thousand pcs of car tires and about 230 thousand pcs of truck tires output increase.
