«BELSHINA» TO INTRODUCE THE INTERNATIONAL ECOLOGICAL STANDARD ISO 14000 |

JSC «Belshina» started to introduce the International Ecological Standard ISO 14000.
Belshina is planning to introduce the system of environment control in accordance with international standards within the year of 2008, it was admitted at the company.
Representatives of JSC Belshina informed that the first stage of introduction the of the system of environment control has been already passed – the Committee of the Centre for International Ecological Projects «Ecologyinvest» has made a preliminary ecological analysis of the Belshina activity to correspond the demands of environment protection legislation of Belarus.
At present Belshina has started a second stage – personnel training and development of relevant documentation. Particularly, a training of personnel on the theme: «Creation of the system of environment control in accordance with STB ISO 14001-2005» has been arranged recently.
The company representatives admitted that, according to the international experience the introduction of the International Ecological Standard ISO 14000 promotes the optimization of the control system and increases the trust of customers to the enterprise and its products. |

BELSHINA INCREASED PRODUCTION VOLUME FOR 17.1% IN JANUARY-SEPTEMBER |

Production growth rate of JSC Belshina in comparable prices in January-September 2007 was 117.1%, as compared with the same period of 2006.
Production growth rate in kind for this period makes 128.4%.
Export volume increased for 8.9% in January-September 2007.
Belshina sales structure during this period is as follows: local market – 35.2%, Russia – 26.2%, other CIS countries – 11.3%, foreign countries – 27.3%. |

BELSHINA DEVELOPED A NEW OFF-THE-ROAD TYRE FOR INDIA |

A new pneumatic OTR tyre 33.00-51 model Bel-153 PR 52 is developed at JSC Belshina especially for operation in India.
This tyre has a cross-ply construction with a deep tread pattern E4. It’s designed for 120 ton mining dump trucks UNIT RIG model MARK 30B, operated in Indian coal mines.
A new tyre is designed for operation at the ambient temperature up to +52 C. |

BELSHINA HAS DESIGNED A NEW OTR TYRE BEL-162 |

JSC Belshina has designed a new off-the-road tyre 33.00R51, model Bel-162.
It’s a tubeless all-steel radial tyre for BelAZ dump trucks with load capacity of 120-140 tons.
Rock tread pattern of this tyre ensures excellent road grip, increased resistance to tread wear, cuts and chippings and corresponds to the latest requirements of the OTR technology, was admitted by the company. Application of steel cord in carcass and belt ensures increased load capacity and tyre life for heavy-duty dump trucks operated on access roads in open mines and allows to reduce losses for rolling resistance and fuel consumption. |

Minsk. September, 26. INTERFAX-WEST - JSC «Belshina» has increased its production volume for 20.8% in January-August 2007, as compared with the same period of the previous year.
Production growth rate in kind within 8 months of 2007 was 128.6%, as compared with the same period of 2006.
The commercial products growth rate within 8 months in comparable prices comes to 120.8%. Sales volume for this period increased for 20.4%.
Export volume increased for 10.1% in January-August, 2007.
Belshina sales structure is as follows: local market - 35.6%, Russia - 25.3%, other CIS countries - 11.1%, foreign countries - 28.0%. |

BELSHINA HAS OPENED TRADE HOUSES IN THE C.I.S. REGIONS AND BALTIC COUNTRIES |

Minsk. September 11. INTERFAX-WEST - JSC «Belshina» has opened its trade houses in some regions of Russia, as well as in Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Lithuania, the company informed to «Interfax».
In Russian Federation the trade houses were opened in Nizhny Novgorod (Nizhegorodsky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Krasnodar (Krasnodarsky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Petrozavodsk (Petrozavodsky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Smolensk (Smolensky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Tumen (Tumensky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Kursk (Kursky Trade House «Belshina» LLC), in Irkutsk (Irkutsky Trade House «Belshina» LLC).

«BELSHINA» IS TESTING A NEW TYRE |

JSC «Belshina» started test trials of a new tyre 205/65R15 model Bel-123.
This model is designed for GAZ 3111 «Volga» passenger cars, its modifications and other cars of the similar class.
This high-speed tyre has radial construction with textile carcass and steel belt.
Tyre 205/65R15 model Bel-123 has the original directional tread pattern. Main advantages of the directional tread pattern - rapid water removal from the footprint, excellent wet grip and maximum protection from aquaplaning.

JSC «Belshina» has increased its production volume for 30.2% in January-June 2007, as compared with the same period of the previous year.
Production growth rate in kind in the first six months of 2007 was 129.5%, as compared with the same period of 2006.
The commercial products growth rate in the first half-year in comparable prices comes to 130.2%. Sales volume for this period increased for 24.2%.
Export volume increased for 14.1% during the first six months of 2007.
Belshina sales structure is as follows: local market - 37.2%, Russia - 24.1%, other CIS countries - 11.6%, foreign countries - 27.1%.

«BELSHINA» HAS PARTICIPATED IN THE NATIONAL EXHIBITION «BELARUS EXPO» IN WARSAW |

JSC «Belshina» has presented its products at the National Exhibition «Belarus EXPO» in Warsaw, Poland.
JSC «Belshina» has been awarded with a diploma for the active participation in the Exhibition.
Totally, 105 Belarusian exhibitors took part at the Exhibition who represented industrial, architecture-and-construction, agriculture, scientific, innovation and banking potential of the Republic of Belarus.
During the Exhibition there were carried out the conference «Belarus-Poland economic cooperation and investment possibilities in Belarus», seminars «Banks, credits for trade and investments», «Architecture and civil construction of Belarus», «Tourist possibilities of Belarus».
The Exhibition was visited by the members of Polish Government, chairmen of the Parliament standing commissions, delegates of the Parliament and senators, leaders of political parties, administrators of local power authorities, chief executives of regional and branch chambers of commerce and industry, numerous representatives of Polish business circles. |
